Based on MacEtch, a method for the texturing of a Si wafer surface, thus yielding regular nanoporous silicon structure, as well as an array of Si nanowires with an average diameter of 250 nm, was developed. The studies of optical properties of obtained structures allowed to propose a concept of photoelectric converters. Based on the results of studies of magnetic and magneto-transport properties of silicon whiskers, it was found that the magnetic properties of the crystals are subject to the laws of percolation to form magnetic clusters, what corresponds to a Kaminski-Das Sarma model. There was proposed the use of silicon whiskers doped by magnetic impurity as sensitive elements of sensors that can be used in spintronics.5481
