Technology and equipment for milling the road surface was analysed. Was established the directions of efficiency hydraulic drive devices working parts and the cutting conveyor of cold milling machine. Circuit reliability of the mill by using built-in hydraulic drive increased by 52%. The choice of transmission mechanisms provided minimal radial dimensions with the necessary power and kinematic parameters, which helped place these mechanisms in a limited internal space corps of drums.
