The object of this study is to state sovereignty in the context of globalization. The aim is to study the features of state sovereignty in the context of globalization of social life, on the one hand, and national-state differences, on the other. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that in modern conditions the process of globalization of economic and cultural life of society, the problem affects the sovereignty of the state, as it was understood in the formation of modern states. The analysis of this phenomenon and its impact on the situation of the States today is devoted to the study. In the study used methods: a comparative analysis, system analysis, the dialectical method and historical analysis. Theoretical and practical results of the study can be used in the management of public bodies and society. The novelty of the problem lies in the fact that the scientific literature does not describe the relation of globalization and sovereignty. Materials research can later be used in political science and public administration.
