The influence of the powders grinding mode, sintering and subsequent hot deformation on the gas content of impurities, structure formation and mechanical properties of titanium derived from its hydride were investigated. Thermodynamic conditions, kinetics and mechanisms of titanium hydride interactions with ZrO2, Al2O3, Cr2O3, AlN, TiN, VN, TiC, NbC, Cr3C2 were studied. The process of destructive hydrogenation of intermetallic Zr2Al, Zr3Al2, Zr2Cu were investigated.
