The developed minimally invasive methods of treatment of diseases of pancreas, rectum, extrahepatic biliary ducts, based on endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques and other minimally invasive techniques, allow to improve results of treatment of these disorders. More than 850 patients were treated using these methods as a part of the scientific program. Twofold or threefold reduction of terms of hospital stay, social and labour rehabilitation were achieved by these techniques compared to conventional methods. Good long-term outcomes were achieved as well.
