The inhibitors of LeuRS M. tuberculosis among the derivatives of N-Benzylidene-N'-thiazo l-2-yl-hydrazine have been tested against pathogenic strain M. tuberculosis H37Rv. It was revealed that three compounds have antibacterial activity with MIC values of 25 µM, 50 µM and 81 µM. The most promising compound 4-{[4-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-thiazol-2-yl]hydrazonomethyl}-2-methoxy-6 nitro-phenol inhibits growth of M. tuberculosis H37Rv with MIC value of 25 µM, IC50=50 µM and IC90=13,53 µM and possess intracellular activity in macrophage-like cells.
