It was found that a drastic reduction of the hysteresis in the current-voltage curves of such structures is due to the universal two-peak distribution of the disordered insulating layer transparency. It was found that a radical change of the curvature of the temperature dependence of the superconducting current across Josephson self-shunted devices corresponds to changes in the technology of the samples and so can be adapted specifically to the application needs. The results obtained during the first stage of the joint Ukrainian-French project can serve as a basis for creating novel Josephson heterostructures with improved superconducting properties and, at the same time, with well-separated metal electrodes.
