The object of study - the functioning of authorities of single system of air operations for search and rescue. Subject of research - automation of management processes and decision making of aviation search and rescue organization. Purpose - an improvement of efficiency of functioning of authorities of aviation search and rescue system in Ukraine by automating of management processes to organize aviation search and rescue. Methods - analytical. In research work it is defined the basic functionalities and generalized algorithm of implementation of functional characteristics and algorithm of single elements of modelling of basic functions AMS-ASR. Relevance of the research is to improve the effectiveness of the authorities of a single system of air operations for search and rescue in emergency events and other emergencies by automating of management processes for the organization of air operations for search and rescue. Implementation of intellectual AMS-ASR based on automation of information processes and modern GIS technology will help to ensure the fullest use of the potential organizational methods and possibilities of a single system of air operations for search and rescue.
