According to its physical and chemical indicators brine Sivash can be characterized as boron, iodine-bromine brine, brine sturdy magnesium-chloride sodium composition, neutral, slightly alkaline. Biologically active components and compounds which are normalized in the spa treatment waters and give specific properties, such as bromine, metasilicic acid, orthoboric acid, iodine detected in concentrations above balneotherapeutic standards. Water samples were rated as significantly bactericidal. Experimental studies have shown that brine Sivash at course external use is safe for the body and has a biological activity.
