Aim of the research: the study of the Ukrainian culture-linguistic personality through the prism of the modern research in the areas of Linguoculturology, Sociolinguistics, Linguoconceptology, Communicative Linguistics, Linguodidactics and Text Linguistics. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature dedicated to the designated issues; structural and semantic, systemic, descriptive methods, discursive and linguistic text analyses, conceptual analysis; pedagogical experiment. Theoretical and practical outcomes: The main factors have been defined in the research process as well as the methodical guidelines regarding the formation of linguistic personality of a pupil / an undergraduate student / a master course student majoring in Philology have been elaborated. To be more precise, the efficient ways enabling the formation of the culture-linguistic personality are to be searched at the intersection of Linguodidactics and Linguoculturology, Linguostylistics, Cognitive Linguistics, Pragmatics, Text Linguistics, etc. Therefore, the anthrop-oriented methods are widely implemented into Linguodidactics, as follows: communicative, cognitive, linguoculturological conceptions of teaching mother tongue. The ways enabling the realization of the culturology-oriented principle in the system of higher philological education have been practically studied, they are: the use of a system of linguoculturology-oriented assignments, cognitive and conceptual research of literary works and various kinds of art, the implementation of the system of interdisciplinary links, the widening of forms alongside with the diversity of contact types with the surrounding world (national-cultural system of education and learning, cultural and linguistic environment, work at literary works) within linguistic and literature-targeted disciplines. Novelty: the scientific approaches to the study of linguistic personality have been theoretically grounded and practically researched in the areas, as follows: Onomastics, Linguostylistics, Linguoculturology, Literary and Linguodidactics; the main ways enabling the formation of the Ukrainian culture and linguistic personality of a pupil / an undergraduate student / a master course student majoring in Philology have been proposed; the cognitive and conceptual methods of teaching the Ukrainian language at higher school have been further developed.
