Aim of the study: to justify methodological, theoretical and methodical foundations of the development of choreographic and pedagogical education in Ukraine and elaborate an open multi-componental organizational and methodical system of training future teachers of choreography. Methods of the study: theoretical: categorial analysis, generalization, classification and comparison, theoretical modelling; empirical: pedagogical observation, analysis of teaching and assistant practice, choreographic performances, generalization of the teaching choreographic experience. Achieved scientific and pedagogical results. There was determined the essence of professional and integrated competencies of future choreographic disciplines teachers that meet modern social and cultural transformations of society: intercultural, artistic, educational, hermeneutic, communicative, music (on the basis of metrology). The following dimensions for building and evaluating organizational and methodical system of training choreography teachers were determined: functionality, procedurality, structurality, cultural content, subordination to the education quality management. Practical value of the results and their application: The results are introduced into the course: "Methodology of art pedagogy and methods of scientific research", "Theory and methods of teaching choreographic disciplines in higher educational establishments", "Composition and dance staging". The determined approaches, principles and conditions are introduced into students' research and development, choreographic and performance, composition and teaching practice. The Olympiad in choreography was launched, in particular, the Provisions of National Ukrainian Olympiad were elaborated. The results are implemented in the educational process of Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A. S. Makarenko and Uman State Pedagogical University named after Pavlo Tychyna. For the first time educational and scientific syllabus in training applicants for the third (education and scientific) level of the specialty 014 "Secondary education: choreography" was developed.
