Using the model of the influence of cathode particles in the corrosion of aluminum alloy is investigation and found that reducing their size leads to increase in the area of electrochemical activity and distribution of general corrosion due to increased area ratio anode and cathode areas. It is shown that the dispersion of cathode particles have less impact on the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys in environments highly compared to low conductivity. Using finite element modeled electrochemical process, given the dimensional factor, conductance environment, availability and resistance oxide films, and material properties, the experimental data confirmed the impact of the dispersion of inclusions and aggressive environment on the alloy corrosion.
