The object of study is business processes and phenomena that are displayed and controlled in accordance with the needs of management. The aim is to study the theory, methodology and organization of accounting and control and improve them in order to create the operational information system of financial and economic activities of enterprises and organizations for the purposes of management. Basic scientific results obtained from the use of historical and evolutionary, system-functional and synergistic approaches to accounting and control of assets, liabilities, equity and business processes using general (history, methods of ordering, grouping and summarizing, formalization) and special economic methods: table-calculation, graphic, economic and statistical methods, SWOT-analysis, modeling, design. Scientific novelty of the research is to deepen and specify theoretical research on accounting and control elements as an information management system of enterprises and the public sector, improve the methodology and organization of internal accounting in various sectors of the economy, improving the current system of accounting and control of fixed assets, cash funds, equity and liabilities, identifying problem areas and improve the system of cost accounting and revenue of enterprises to analyze and take effective management decisions. The practical significance of the results is that the proposed methodological guidance and practical advice on issues of accounting and control of assets, liabilities, equity and business processes can be used by enterprises and public sector entities to ensure their effective and competitive activities .
