During the study, in order to achieve a particular purpose separate tasks were performed: scientific approaches to defining the essence of tourist destinations were reviewed; expert-statistical evaluation of the life cycle of wine tourism destinations was condacted. the role of tourism in wine leading tourist countries of the world was analyzed; the organization of wine complex of the world was analyzed; the foreign experience of organizing wine tours programs in countries was analyzed; the leaders of the world tourism market were analysed . The practical significance of the study is the allowing of results to: to create the optimal model of development based on wine tourism wich is based on foreign experience; to determine the optimal use of the mechanism of the state tourism potential for the development of wine tourism; to define priorities for the development of state wine tourism; to outline the directions of innovative process management improvements in the tourism sector of the country. The results can be used to improve the documentation (regulations, procedures, instructions, etc.) with respect to the development of state tourism industry in the modern globalized world conditions.
