The features of formation of wave fild generated by a ship that moves in the channel over rectangular obstacle of semi-infinite length have been studied. The experimental investigations of the reflection process of oblique ship waves from vertical walls of the channel have been carried out. The dependence of the windth of Mach stem wave on the passed distance has been obtained. Modeling of wind waves in coastal zone of approach channel of deep-sea ship fairwayof Dunave- Black sea has been fulfilled.
