The concept of parallel processes in educational and therapeutic groups; and three related models: model of the interpretations of role interaction between members of a small group; model of gender-conditioned behavior in small homogeneous and heterogeneous groups that form the circuit gender identity; model of the role communication in the process of group interaction in the newly created groups were developed. Developed and tested in practice methods: working with small groups in terms of group injuries; a set of techniques for self psyho-education and stress during group work; pictographic painting technique inter-subject space and distances in the group as indicators of external and internal borders. The study involved 2007 individuals (48% women, 52% men), of which high school students - 48; university students - 149; parents of students - 24; participants of training groups - 257; IDPs - 131; military and combatants - 742. Found conscious and unconscious factors of group interaction in small groups, which are: parallel processes in groups as actualization of latent content of group life; group traumas and their experiences on group level; members' inter-subjectivity of role interaction; ability to control own borders and other's borders; identification of personality with group status, roles or actors; group practices achieve of inner balance; reflection of conscious and unconscious group contradictions; consistency gender-role self-concept with group expectations; balance between own gender identity and gender image identity.
