Goal of the work - to elaborate the technology and infrastructure of formation the Science Library Knowledge Base as a semantic model that contains a systematic complex of library documents and information resources. On the basis of generalized scientific approaches to forming library knowledge base it was developed the original architecture of research reference apparatus of library knowledge base which is based on the relationship of reference information and authority files. There were expanded the formation of two new projects at The Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine: Digital Library "Ukrainika" and information portal "Science of Ukraine: access to knowledge", whose purpose is to promote, improve rating and availability information resources of Ukrainian studies subjects and scientific achievements of scientists Ukraine through the use of modern library and web technologies. The technological solutions corporate pilot projects "Book monuments of Ukraine" and "Consolidated online catalog of the National Academy of Sciences institutions of Ukraine" were developed and started
