A database of experience with biogas as a fuel for internal combustion engines developed. Estimation of the potential of biogas operating in Ukraine landfills have been done. The analysis of biogas potential commercial use to generate electricity, thermal energy and biogas as fuel for local needs were made. Developed schematic diagram of the fuel gas system unit, using as fuel biogas and biomethane. Established pilot plant based on engine ZMZ-53 and conducted trials of regulating speed system of gas ignition systems and cooling systems when running on biogas and biomethane.
