The object of the research - the theoretical basis and practical aspects of conducting economic expertise. The purpose of the work is to summarize and substantiate theoretical principles and develop practical recommendations for conducting economic expertise by domestic business entities. Methods of research - theoretical and historical generalization, grouping and comparison for substantiation of theoretical positions; abstract and logical observation and cause-and-effect relationship for the classification of areas of economic expertise; causative link for improving the methodical bases of carrying out of economic expertise by domestic business entities; observation, formalization, analysis, synthesis for studying the main trends of economic expertise in Ukraine; induction, deduction to identify problems and solve them by conducting an economic examination; analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, economic and mathematical, correlation analysis of the information necessary for conducting an economic examination of the relationship with consumers. The substantiation of theoretical positions and the formulation of practical recommendations for the conduct of economic expertise in Ukraine, as well as the recognition of its sectoral peculiarities. The generalized scientific result of the work is the development of scientific and practical recommendations for the conduct of economic expertise by domestic business entities.
