The purpose of the work was to determine the sources of air pollution by formaldehyde in the city of Mariupol, on the development dimension of the measures, as well as recommendations to reduce formaldehyde emissions. For this purpose, current measurements for determining the concentration of formaldehyde in the air at various points Mariupol were conducted; the tendencies to change the current concentration of formaldehyde emissions; developed pollution map of the city; identified sources and causes excess formaldehyde emission to the atmosphere; predicted the situation in the short and long term; designed measures and guidelines for the elimination of excess formaldehyde emissions.
