The subject of research are the features of the process of interaction of subjects involved in the development of non-formal education of young people in Ukraine. The purpose of the project is to analyze the features of development of non-formal education in Ukraine and its impact on young people. The results of research. The work carried out theoretical and methodological analysis of the term "non-formal education" and summarizes information on the development of the concept of non-formal education in the European Union. We analyzed the international experience of informal education in the post-Soviet countries and Europe. Studied the experience of Lithuania for the implementation of non-formal education as a tool for professional and personal development of young people, analyzed the program "youth worker", which is implemented in Lithuania since 2012, the basic competence of youth workers, which focused training and certification process of youth workers. For the first time in Ukraine conducted a case study on the status of non-formal education and to attract young people to it. In the online survey were identified overall non-formal education in Ukraine, which allowed to define the role of informal educational activities in the education system of modern man, as well as the motivation of the Ukrainian youth regarding the mechanism of attraction to it. According to a survey interviewed young people quite often (3-4 times per year) is involved in non-formal education activities. The majority of respondents are considering non-formal education as a tool for personal growth. As noted by a significant portion of the respondents (57%), which is the main criterion for participation in non-formal education is a thematic interest in educational activities, no matter on what basis (paid or free) is carried out. 87% of respondents accurately represent how will use the knowledge and experience they have gained in the process of non-formal education, in everyday life and profession.
