The latest concept as to the leading role of genetic factors that cause an individual's increased susceptibility to the development of immune-medicated pathological process has been created. The molecular nature of an individual's predisposition to the development of immune-medicated pathological process has been proven, diagnostic and prognostic role of polymorphic variants of genes of Toll-like receptors, regulatory proteins of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors gamma 2, nuclear transcription factor kappa B1, endothelial NO-synthase, receptor to angiotensin II type 1, angiotensin-converting gene in the susceptibility to infectious agents and the ability of the immune response have been substantiated. The obtained data helped to develop and justify a targeted strategy of individual genetic prognostication of infectious diseases through the identification of immunogenetic markers and formation of risk groups as to the susceptibility to immune-medicated diseases, the principles of early use of preventive drugs.
