Reactions of cyclization of pyrimidine aldehydes leading to new condensed compounds with pyrimidine ring were studied. Convenient approach for synthesis of derivatives of the pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine with nitrogen-containing substituents in position 4 and 7 of the heterocycle was found. The stereo-selective methods of synthesis of optically active esters of phosphonic acids, which are potential biologically active substances, was proposed. The scheme of synthesis of phosphonothyrosine was developed. It has been shown that 3-phenacyl-4-methyl-5-substituted thiazole salts inhibit butyrylcholinesterase with IC50 in the micromolar range of values. It has been shown that adamantyl-containing N-benzyl- and N-phenacylthiazole salts have an inhibitory effect on butyrylcholinesterase, demonstrating selectivity for acetylcholinesterase. The analys of the biological activity of a number of derivatives of purines containing structural elements, similar to natural phytohormones of cytokinins was carried out. Heterocyclic compounds with hydroxyphenyl substituents have a pronounced effect on the activity of natural cytokinins in bioassays on the accumulation of pigment in the families of amaranth plants was shown.
