The aim: the aim is the improvement the efficiency of complex treatment of patients with edematous breast cancer through the development of tactics of individualization of treatment based on the assessment of molecular-biological markers of tumor. Research methods and techniques: clinical, instrumental, biochemical, electron microscopic, morphological, immunohistochemical, statistical. Theoretical and practical results: correlation of expression of tumor markers with the effectiveness of treatment of secondary edematous breast cancer. It is determined the dependence of expression of VEGF from differentiation grade, proliferative activity of the tumor (Ki-67), hormoneresistancy (absence of steroid hormone receptors) and overexpression of Her-2/neu during complex treatment. The merger of certain expression levels of the selected markers in the clusters allowed us to estimate the degree of SEBC aggressiveness and to select individual tactics of treatment. A method was developed to estimate the prevalence of tumor process in SEBC patients for assessment of tumor size and edema that have ensured correct adjustment of treatment. Most patients with SEBC (86 %) had tumors with tumor grade G3. Novelty: new scientific knowledge about dependence of the expression of tumor markers in the treatment of secondary edematous breast cancer are obtained. New methods of assessing the aggressiveness of the tumor and its prevalence developed. It is proved a significant decrease of VEGF level in the serum of SEBC patients after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. A further development of electron microscopic study of the structure of SEBC tumors was continiued. The effectiveness of implementation: the comprehensive therapy of patients with secondary-edematous breast cancer has allowed to reduce the duration of treatment for 2-3 months, to ensure maximum regression of the tumor over 30% at the beginning of the complex treatment. Area of application: oncology. Product Description popup.authors Єсіпова Н.М. Артамонова Н.О. Білий О.М. Вінніков В.А. Головастікова К.С. Гребіник Л.В. Грищенко Т.П. Забобоніна Л.В. Канцедал О.М.
