Target of research - determine prognostic criteria of treatment control on the basis of studying the expression of angiogenesis regulators as markers of chemoradiotherapy effectiveness of non-small cells lung cancer. Methods of research and equipment - clinical and instrumental, immunoenzymometric, electron-microscopic, dosimetric, statistical; the immunoenzymometric analyzer Immunochem-2100, sliding microtome MC-2, the universal dosimeter UNIDOS_E, the linear accelerator Clinac-600, RUM-17. Theoretical and practical results. The data about the effectiveness of treatment on the objective response to conformal radiotherapy of non-small cells lung cancer and overall one- and two-years survival is obtained. The ratio between dynamic changes of levels of serumal VEGF and endostatine at conformal radiation therapy of NSCLC and the objective response to treatment is defined. It has been found that the VEGF level in treatment dynamics correlates with objective response to conformal radiation therapy of NSCLC and with disease-free and overall survival. The ways of monitoring of radiation treatment and efficiency of radiation therapy of non-small cell lung cancer are developed. The influence of ionizing radiation in various doses on the VEGF level in tumor-bearing rat has been proved. Novelty - for the first time the prognostic criteria of the VEGF regulator's angiogenesis expression for effectiveness monitor of conformal radiotherapy defined. Scientific results about the dependence of VEGF expression from the disease state, degree of malignancy and lesions of lymph nodes before special treatment has been added. Efficiency of implementation - forehanded choice of adequate treatment will allow to enlarge the delaying time to relapse and survivability and to reduce the period of stay of this category of patients in a hospital.
