The subject of the research is forms, methods and techniques of training specialists to use modern educa-tional technologies in their future careers. The purpose is to analyze the structure and the content of prephilological and methodological preparation of future teachers of English, to develop and implement in the educational process of Melitopol State Pedagogical Uni-versity named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky innovative forms, methods and techniques of training specialists to use modern educational technologies in their future careers. Methods of the research are: to determine the status of theoretical and methodological principles of training specialists to use modern educational technologies in their future careers, to study the structure and the content of philological and methodological training was used a method of analysis and synthesis of the literature (psychological, educational, philological and methodological) sources. To identify gaps in students' knowledge and skills on the use of modern educational technologies in their future careers were used methods of testing, focused pedagogical obser-vation of the process of learning and survey. In order to test the effectiveness of the developed training materials was used the method of pedagogical experiment. The expediency of training future specialists to use modern educational technologies in professional activity was proved, the areas of research work and the topics of individual teachers' re-search were defined; educational profiles and programs of the professional specialties were developed; the mono-graph on the theme of research of teachers of the department is celled; files of methodological and teaching materials on the special courses are prepared; methodical recommendations and manuals are worked out on professional disci-plines; the 2-nd (2014) and the 3-d (2016) International research and practice conferences "Issues of functioning of language and literature in modern multicultural society", scientific-methodical seminars "Language and literature in the context of modern education" were organized and conducted; the teachers of department participated in the exter-nal International research and practice conferences, seminars; the teachers of the department published the articles in professional editions and in the editions that are included in scientific databases, and other editions of Ukraine on the problems of individual researches; the teachers of the department purposefully used in an educational process innovative forms, methods of managing lectures and practical classes, self-learning work of students, control after the results of educational activity of future specialists, aimed at students' capturing by professional knowledge and practical skills and abilities.
