The scintillation properties of CsI single crystals grown from the melts that were simultaneously treated by cationic additives and zirconium have been investigated. The treatment of CsI growth melt by Zr-Pt galvanic couple allows to clean effectively the melt from the oxygenated impurities. The usage of galvanic couple instead of pure zirconia allows to accelerate the process and increase the purification efficiency almost in 1, 000 times. The simultaneous usage of cationic impurities and zirconium allows to perform an efficient purification of CsI melt.
