The object of study - the system of training of athletes in Olympic sports. Purpose - the formation of an integrated system of scientific knowledge on the theory and methodology of sports training through study and improve the process of training of athletes during maximal realization of individual potential in multi-system training. Methods of research - analysis, synthesis, abstraction, comparison and generalized-ment, structural analysis, functional analysis, structural-functional analysis, historical method, synergy analysis and system modeling study of print and electronic sources, surveys, observation, description. Based on the synthesis of basic and applied knowledge on the theory of periodization of athletic training, advanced world experience shaped modern approaches to optimize the structure and content of the training of athletes during maximal realization of individual potential. Developed typical model of the final stage of preparation for the main event of the year.
