A series of new functionally substituted derivatives of acridines and porphyrins as potential DNA ligands were obtained and their interaction with duplex and quadruplex DNA was studied by the method FID in microplate format. DC50 parameters (ligand concentration at which it substituted 50% of the dye in its complex with NA) and binding costants of ligands with various forms of DNA were determined. High DNA binding affinity of numerous new compounds was established.
