The optimal optic scheme of a shearographic interferometer has been determined. A mock-up of a shearographic device for non-destructive testing of metal and composite materials has been designed. Software for speckle pattern registration and image processing to retrieve surface deformation of the tested object has been developed. Testing of tubular composite elements with defects was performed using the shearographic mock-up and software.
