By monitoring the degree of destruction of soft wheat varieties different races of yellow rust in a north-eastern region of Ukraine; assess the sustainability of the collection material of winter wheat to stripe rust in the field; assessed the stability of winter wheat accessions of yellow rust in the field of infectious nurseries collected plant (seed) material from the stable and unstable varieties to the wheat pathogen. Completed the selection, design and synthesis of primers, allowing identify Yr-genes (Yr10, Yr36), which are associated with resistance to yellow rust; Screening was done with the help of molecular genetic markers collection of varieties of soft wheat national selection for the presence of genes for resistance to yellow rust.
