Object of investigation: epidemiological processes connected with a spreading of a suicidal activity and methods of their mathematical modeling. Aim of the integrative investigation is a development of methods for modeling of a suicidal activity of the population of Ukraine to make prognosis of its dynamics on all-state and regional levels. The aim of the 2nd stage is a development of a mathematical model of a suicidal activity of the population of Ukraine taking into account social-economic factors which influence on its dynamics, as well as the beginning of testing of this model. Methods of investigation: an analysis of official statistic data on a prevalence of a suicidal activity of the population of Ukraine and statistical information regarding a social-economic situation in the country; mathematical modeling; clinical-psychopathological and psychodiagnostic methods; statistical methods. Results: It was developed a mathematical model of a suicidal activity of the population of Ukraine taking into account social-economic factors which influence on its dynamics; the process of testing of this model have been started. Predictors of completion of suicidal attempts were determined. Relative risks of a year and life-span suicidal activity for patients with various psychopathologies as well as healthy persons were evaluated. It is being formed a database for further analyses on the basis of anamnestic, clinical-psychopathological, and psychodiagnostic examinations of patients who had non-complete suicidal attempts.
