The results of the conducted research are: the study of current issues of criminal of criminal legislation and practice of its application. The Qualitative and quantitative aspects of the Criminal Code of Ukraine as a system formation are considered, and also the signs of such system and criteria for its estimation are singled out. By using defined criteria the norms of the national legislation providing criminal responsibility for crimes against national security of Ukraine, life and health, family, property, occupational safety, justice are analyzed, and the practice of their application is considered. Other issues, including the issues of criminal responsibility for crimes against ecological security, public safety and so on are researched.
