The object of the study is petroleum viscous paving bitumen and asphalt on their basis. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the quality and the features of the bitumen that were used by road enterprises of Ukraine during 2015-2017 and to establish their compliance with the requirements of DSTU 4044 to determinate the impact of various modern modifying additives on the properties of bitumen and asphalt. The method of the research is the experimental research of bitumen and asphalt using the standard test methods.
