The methods of synthesis of protic linear oligomeric (OIL) and hyperbranched polymeric (PIL) ionic liquids containing thermo-responsive macrocations which are able to change their hydrophilic-hydrophobic properties under the influence of temperature were developed. The ability of these compounds to form hierarchical structures in a condensed state, solutions and on the interphase surface of water / air was studied and their main characteristics and dependence of the latter on temperature and their molecular architecture were determined.
