Objective: To investigate the effect of peripheral proinflammatory factors on the metabolic polarization of neuroglia as an early diagnostic and prognostic marker for degeneration of central dopaminergic neurons. Methods of investigation: methods of chemical destruction of dopaminergic neurons (experimental parkinsonism), the method of experimental ulcerative colitis and dysbacteriosis, determination of phagocytic and metabolic activity of monocytes and peripheral blood granulocyte and peritoneal macrophages, number and biochemical composition of glycoproteins of mucus, qualitative and quantitative composition of microbiota. The development of experimental parkinsonism is accompanied by changes in the functional-phenotypic profile of phagocytes of different localization with signs of their proinflammatory activation. Local inflammatory processes in the central nervous system, which are the result of proinflammatory activation of the microglia, also cause a switch to proinflammatory metabolic profile of phagocytes at the periphery of the brain. Functional state and quantitative parameters of peripheral blood phagocytes can be considered as a sensitive criterion for monitoring the progression of neurodegenerative disorders and the effectiveness of the application of various therapeutic methods for their correction. Despite the fact that significant changes in the functional state of phagocytes were characteristic of rats with a severe stage of parkinsonism, statistically significant violations in phagocyte immunity indices were also recorded in animals with a mild stage of the disease, which allows the use of the indicated cell activation markers for early diagnosis of the disease.5481 Product Description popup.authors Нікуліна В.В.
