The aim of the work is to search for materials with optimized properties for their use in functional electronic devices, sensors of physical quantities, chemical sensors, energy and radiation converters, as well as for methods of their synthesis and control of properties to meet the application needs. Based on conducted high temperature reducing-oxidizing annealings, luminescent, x-ray and metallografic studies, the models of changes in structural and optical properties of LiNbO3 crystals and Ca3TaGa3Si2O14 crystals under reducing annealing were proposed.5481
