On the basis of the Dodd-Greider integral equations, modified to account for the Coulomb inter-actions, a consistent theory of one and two-electron charge-exchange in energetic ion-atomic collisions has been developed. The Schroedinger formalism of the continuum distorted wave approximation has been developed for studying the charge-transfer with simultaneous ionization in the range from moderate to high impact energies
