The object of the research is the geopolitical dimension of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The purpose of the study is to reveal the nature of the impact of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration on the geopolitical situation in Ukraine and to substantiate the choice of the state's approaches to these processes, optimal for the interests of national security of Ukraine. The methodological basis is a combination of general scientific and special approaches and methods. The present state is analyzed and the development of the security environment of Ukraine is predicted, in particular in the context of regional dimension. The main range of issues of international and regional European security in the dimension of foreign policy priorities of Ukraine is determined. The main stages of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, the activities of international organizations on collective security are monitored.
