In order to ensure the reliability of the results in experimental studies equipment for standard physical and mechanical tests were used, as well as physyco-chemical, colloid-chemical, electrochemical methods of researches.- a new method of the risk estimating of failures in the work of non-restorative elements of the track structure of non-rigid track during its operation; - the laws of the electrical properties change of multicomponent systems were revealed, which include gravel ballast, roadbed soils, concrete of infrastructure; - the materials with improved electrophysical properties for ballast prism, railroad tracks, concrete production for sleepers and other structures of railways have been developed. The implementation of research results was carried out at railway enterprises and allowed to reduce the compressibility factor of samples of soil-based materials by 12 times, increase the deformation module from 7.8 MPa to 20.3 MPa, increase the electrical resistance by 4 times. The economic effect of forecasting actual longevity and preventing the negative impact of destructive actions on soil and other structures of rail transport will be provided by lowering the costs of their maintenance, extending their service life, increasing reliability, durability and safety of operation.
