The aim of the research is to conduct a holistic scientific analysis on the problem of monitoring quality of education; to develop and justify theoretical and methodological principles of monitoring quality of future specialists' professional training, to experimentally verify effectiveness of the system of monitoring quality of specialists' professional training at the institutional level. Methodology of the research includes theoretical methods (structural and systemic analysis; terminological analysis; scientific identification and comparative analysis of references; extrapolation, prognostic, pedagogical modeling methods); empirical (observations, questionnaires, conversations, interviews, content analysis, methods of statistical processing of monitoring research data using computer processing; pedagogical experiment). Methodological approaches to forming the conceptual-terminological apparatus of the research have been characterized. The analysis on models and practices of monitoring quality of specialists' professional training in higher education institutions of Europe and the USA has been conducted. The process of monitoring quality of Ukrainian education has been described. Quality monitoring models at various institutional levels have been typologized and the most common ones have been characterized. The existing practice of monitoring quality of specialists' professional training at the institutional level has been highlighted. The conceptual foundations of monitoring quality of specialists' professional training in higher education institutions, which are considered in the research at the methodological, theoretical and methodical levels, have been revealed. A conceptual scheme and a model for monitoring quality of specialists' professional training in higher education institutions have been developed. The research results are the following: the model and the organizational and technological support of the system for monitoring quality of specialists' professional training in Ukrainian higher education institutions have been developed. The toolkit for monitoring quality of specialists' professional training at the institutional level has been elaborated.
