The object of research is the process of formation and development of the financial services market in Ukraine. The purpose of the work is the theoretical substantiation of the processes of formation and development of the market of financial services and the development on this basis of proposals on the improvement of these processes in Ukraine. Methods of research - theoretical and historical generalization, grouping and comparison for the systematization of theoretical concepts in order to clarify the basic concepts; observation, formalization, analysis, synthesis for studying the main trends of financial services market development; analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, economic and mathematical, correlation to determine the level of influence of the financial services market on the country's socio-economic development. The theoretical and applied principles of the formation and evolution of the financial services market are grounded, the main problems identified and the vectors of the insurance services market are outlined, special attention is paid to innovations in the activities of business entities and the need for modernization of banking activities in the context of the transformation of financial services. The generalized scientific result of the work is the formulation of theoretical and practical conclusions and proposals that can be used in the development of strategic programs for the development of the financial services market in Ukraine.
