Taking into account all safety requirements, neutron-physical and heat-hydraulic calculations of the WWR-M research reactor were carried out and the configuration of the active zone of the reactor was determined taking into account the loading of new fuel assemblies into it. The analysis of probable emergency situations indicates the possibility of conducting safe tests of new fuel assemblies in the active zone of the WWR-M reactor.
