Purpose: the scientific substantiation of the conceptual foundations of the content of education for children with intellectual disabilities and the development of software, methodological and corrective-developmental provision of its implementation in the context of a competent approach. Methods of work: Theoretical: analysis of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical, methodical literature, studying and generalization of pedagogical experience, comparative analysis. Empirical: methods of pedagogical and psychological diagnostics (psychological and pedagogical observation, questioning, questioning of students, parents and teachers of educational institutions), analysis of student's work and teaching and methodological documentation. Results of work: The scientific principles of development of educational content for children with intellectual disabilities are determined. The monograph "Theoretical and Methodical Principles for the Implementation of the Content of Education for Children with Mental Disorders" was prepared (Authors: O.V. Chebotaryova, G.O. Blech, I.V. Gladchenko, S.V. Tricoz, I.V.Bobrenko) , within the framework of which the conceptual approaches are substantiated and the main directions of updating the contents of education of younger pupils with intellectual disorders are determined, leading educational directions and correction-development technologies of younger students with intellectual disabilities (mild and moderate degrees, presented by others) are presented. The educational content of the sections covers conceptual approaches and technologies for the formation of socially adaptive and life competencies in the process of labor and social studies, speech development, mathematics instruction, and the Ukrainian language. , foundations of health, physical culture, natural science, fine arts and musical art.
