The world tendencies of nuclear energy development are generalized; the optimization model of the energy system TIMES-Ukraine was improved; the first time in Ukraine, using economic and mathematical model TIMES-Ukraine, conducted scenario analysis and conducted an economic assessment of long-term development of nuclear power Ukraine, which showed that without the implementation of appropriate technologies for its innovative role in the low carbon economy of Ukraine is an important oriented to 2040- 2050 years, but after that it will be insignificant, as economic competition will be lost to renewable energy; the technical and economic characteristics of advanced nuclear generation technologies are summarized for their calculation for the simulation of scenarios for the development of electric power industry in Ukraine; promising forms of financing of projects for the construction of new nuclear reactors under the mechanism of public-private partnership with the provision of state guarantees for private investments for the implementation of nuclear technologies (technological transfer) and equipment that does not exist in Ukraine was substantiated.
