Purpose: to ensure the transparency and integrity of the selection, placement and appointment of personnel for positions in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The object of the research is the work with personnel in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The subject of the study is the procedure of the survey using polygraph of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine personnel. Methods of research: theoretical - logical-dialectical method of cognition, system analysis and synthesis, comparison, generalization and systematization; empirical - observation, survey, qualifying experiment, expert evaluation; methods of mathematical statistics - frequency analysis, ranking. Results of the work: foreign experience of using PRUP in activity of law enforcement agencies was analyzed; identified probable corruption risks and potential areas of abuses in the process of military activity and the possibility of their prevention by polygraph; the model of the system of periodical conducting of the PDD in the process of work with personnel of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine was developed; the terminology, forms, methods and tools for organizing the PDD procedure in the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Ukraine are improved; project documents on amendments to the regulatory legal acts regulating the organization and conduct of the ORF in the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of Ukraine; Methodical recommendations for organizing the organization of the PDD in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been developed. The results of the research can be used by the Department of Personnel Policy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the military management oficcials and specialists of the polygraph of the Scientific and Methodical Center of Personnel Policy of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The scientific novelty of the work is that for the first time the system of the periodical conduct of the PDD and the organizational and managerial and methodical principles of its usage in the process of work with personnel in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been substantiated for the purpose of providing personnel security, identifying potential areas of abuse and preventing corruption risks in the service activities.
