The purpose of the work is to create and improve software that simplifies interaction of people with special needs with text, graphic, non-verbal materials using multimodal interfaces. As part of the work the new concept of multimodal support was developed for people with special needs on the basis of information and communication technologies, research of scientific principles and technological requirements for separate components of multimodal support systems, namely: heartbeat analysis without information from other channels of multimodal interaction and computer vision systems. Several methods of machine learning for the estimation of the current and accumulated effect of physical activity (physical fatigue) and computer vision tasks are offered on the example of automatic definition of letters of complex form of handwritten writing. The proposed new methods generally allow achieving the goal with greater accuracy and speed and at the expense of lower costs. As part of the concept of a complementary ecosystem for unobtrusive adaptive personalized care for people with special needs, this allows us to build a synergistic and user-friendly interface for intuitive, multimodal human-machine interactions, including Internet content and machine learning.
