The structural features of these models have been investigated. The models have been superimposed on the human cytoplasmic seryl-tRNA synthetase. Obtained homology models have been evaluated using web-server MolProbity. Accordingly to the MolProbity data, the homology models which were generated with Swiss-Model server based on the crystal structures of seryl-tRNA synthetase from Aquifex aeolicus VF5 (PDB ID: 2DQ3) and human cytoplasmic seryl-tRNA synthetase (PDB ID: 4RQE), have demonstrated the best quality. The last one was taken for comparison of its tRNA- and aminoacyl-adenylate binding sites with human enzyme.
