The object of research is the viability of the individual. Subject - Resilience as a factor of socio-psychological adaptation of fire-rescuers. Aim: to study the peculiarities of the influence of the level of viability of the individual on the success of the socio-psychological adaptation of the fire-rescuers of the first year of service. Methods: ? Theoretical character: analysis of scientific literature, generalization of received information, system analysis and interpretation of data; ? psychodiagnostic: the "Viability test" (adaptation of D.O. Leontiev, A.I. Rasskazova) was used to determine the level of severity of the main structural components of viability; To study the peculiarities of the personality adaptability of the specialist, a multi-level personal questionnaire (MLU-AM) Adaptability (AG Maklakov and SV Chermyanin), method of diagnosis of social-psychological adaptation of K. Rogers and R. Diamond was used; To study the degree of satisfaction with professional activity, the questionnaire "Assessment of Satisfaction with Labor" V.A. Rayon ? Methods of mathematical statistics: Student's t-criterion, Fisher's ?-criterion. The study involved fire-rescuers of the first year of service, working in units SSNSU Kharkov, a total of 47 people. A corrective program for the development of self-regulation ability for future specialists has been developed and tested. The results of the research work were used during classes with NUTZU cadets
