The philosophical, sociological, psychological, pedagogical literature on the research topic is analyzed. The key concepts of research are defined, it is specified that the value of life of adolescents is the attitude of pupils to life as the highest human value. The specificity of the formation of the value of life in schoolchildren of adolescence is determined. Criteria for the value of the life of adolescent children have been developed: cognitive, emotional, reflexive, behavioral-activity. The levels of the formation of the value of life in adolescents are characterized. The ascertaining stage of the pedagogical experiment was carried out. Pedagogical conditions for the formation of the value of life of adolescents in the interaction of the school and the family have been determined and justified.
